Membership Info

Membership is open to all supporters of Oregon Midwifery and the Midwives Model of Care©.  Our members include midwives, apprentice, student midwives, childbirth educators and consumers.  Members receive quarterly issues of the newsletter, Birthing and a listing on the OMC website for their midwifery, childbirth education or doula practice.  OMC meetings are held 3 times a year;  January, May & September.  Regional meetings (see areas below) are held several times a year and may include peer review.  Check with regional reps for dates and locations.  Membership is due on International Midwives Day, May 5th

Basic Membership as follows:

$35    Students and apprentices fee

$50    Midwives w/ household income under $40,000

$60    Midwives w/ household income over $40,000

For an enhanced membership (to support OMC’s work) and get a professional membership deduction consider one of the following options:

Enhanced Membership

Maiden (level 1) $10/month ($120) added  to basic membership above

Mother (level 2) $20/month ($240) added basic membership above

Crone (level 3) $40/month ($480) added basic membership above
